Brought my dog in here one time as I was visiting family and he had an ear infection. I had recently switched him to a raw diet, and knew he was detoxing, but his ears were red and raw from all the itching. We saw Dr. Johnson who was adamant on not feeding raw and telling me that "dogs digestive systems are more similar to humans than you think". Maybe vets aren't educated on canine nutrition in school, but here's a quick lesson: Cats and Dogs are CARNIVORES. They don't need carbs/veggies in their diet. Their digestive tracts are much shorter than ours, and their stomachs more acidic. Maybe some updated education is required before you give clients incorrect information, or maybe that's what keeps you in business - kibble fed animals who are constantly sick.
