Ho-ly crap. I don't understand how this place is still in business. The food was not authentic or good. We ordered 10 different items and I was only impressed with 2 and one of them isn't even a cooked item (jamon iberico - acorn fed).
Here's a break down of what we ordered:
Sopa de ajo - Nice presentation, but was esstientially turkey gravy. It was so salty and nobody wanted to eat it.
San Simon con garapinado de frutos secos - two slices of okay cheese and a little bit of nut brittle for $10 (LOL).
Jamon Iberico de bellota Fermin - one of the only two things I would eat again. This also came with a soggy slice of bruschetta for everyone which was gross.
Croquetas de setas - was suppose to be fried mushroom fritters. Didn't taste any mushrooms.
Coca con erizos de mar - the only other thing I would eat. Uni and iberico bacon on a slice of bread. Thank god their uni is fresh.
Costillas de cordero con salsa romero y alioli de miel - You can't even see the grill marks on the lamb. It was barely grilled to the point that you can tell they boiled it first in water and then put on some lame ass grill with no firepower to simulate grilled lamb. It was also not tender at all.
Paella Valenciana 'Rafael Vidal' - mushy rice with chicken bone bits that hurts your teeth if you're not careful when chewing. So much tomato sauce.
Arroz a banda con gambas - undercooked rice with this bad fishy shrimp taste.
Vieiras con piniones y PX - they should use whatever they used to grill the scallops in this dish to grill the fucking lambs.
Dátiles con tocino 'como hace todo el mundo' - nothing special. You can make this at home yourself and taste the exact same.
Honestly, this place is not worth even a tiny bit compared to what they are charging you per dish. Maybe if you wanted to try the jamon iberico. We left hungry and disappointed. Just go to taco bell and you will feel less hungry and disappointed.
