  • I will NEVER visit this salon again. I specifically called and asked if they had a stylist that was adept at cutting curly hair and was told they did so they made an appointment for me. I came into the salon and it so far so good. I discussed my needs with the stylist and she showed me what she thought would be the appropriate amount to trim off the end of my hair (about 1-1.5 inches). Keep on mind my hair is (WAS) to the middle of my back and is curly and I've been working on growing it out for over 3 years. As we continue she starts to cut my hair (and at times seems to make backhanded comments about my previous stylist whom I loved but we have moved to a different city) and I'm starting to feel like she is not paying attention to me and my hair but is more interested in telling me her life story. Salon conversations are normal don't get me wrong, but she as clearly wrapped up in her own world. Suffice to say, she didn't show me the back of my hair and I just assumed she had cut what was discussed as it was a fairly quick cut. When I got home I saw she had cut off approximately 4 inches and my hair is now just below my shoulders. If you have curly hair you also know that means it looks even shorter than that now because it isn't as heavy. I called the salon and asked for the manager and explained my experience and requested a refund as I now have to go somewhere to have the cut corrected. He said if it had been a color job they would, but not a cut. What?! He said if I wanted to come back in they could have someone else work on it. NO thank you! I explained my position again and again asked for a refund and he said he would look into it and asked for my number and he would call me back. 2 days later, still no call. BEWARE OF POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE TO INCLUDE POOR HAIR CUTTING SKILLS.
