  • Unfortunate to see this place get to the level it is now. I have been a long time loyal Toyota customer and this specific location has just about killed that. I get it that each location is different so to be clear this is in regards to the Toyota Riverview location and their SERVICE DEPT. I have brought my corolla and prius' (two) to this location for years and the service department seems to get worse every time. I arrived there today at 2:15 looking for an oil change. No one, including customers, were in their service bay so I thought this was my lucky day. After walking around looking for someone to notify I needed an oil change I decided to walk into someone's office asking for help. This was the "Asst Service Manager's" office (I think they are all called that) and the guy said to ask someone else for help. Shocked. I was finally helped and decided to sit down while they worked on the oil change. I had plenty of work to do so I was not in any significant rush. Good thing, because at 5:00 they were just finishing my paperwork (almost 3 hours later, Jiffy Lube does this same thing in 18 min!!!). Again, this was JUST for an oil change. In their defense, it seemed like there was something wrong as all the "Asst Service Managers" looked frazzled and upset as I think the tech crews were taking longer than normal. When I asked for an update at 5:05, the guy who was helping me said, "I will get to you in a second." So I get people have rough days, but the entire department, every time I go in?? Toyota charges a premium which is fine if they deserve it...they do not.
