Ate at Bonfire for the second tonite. Food is very good and getting better. The grilled vidalia onion appetizer is a winner - especially with the home chips. Had it both times. Have also had the meatballs. Good also. Oh yeah almost forgot the charred jalapeno poppers. Much better than the breaded ones that other places serve. Wife said they were too spicy but I loved them. Had the Vermont cheddar mac n cheese - wife thought it was great! Ok by me - just not a big mac n cheese fan.
As for entre's we have had the bacon wrapped tenderloin - and it was a lot of food at a reasonable price. Good value and tasted great. Had the Scottish Salmon skewer tonite. Had a very nice butter sauce with it. Cooked perfectly and very tasty.
We thought the portions were very good for the price and everything is shareable - we like that.
I tried the jalapeno martini. It was very good.
We like the atmosphere - not too big/not too small. Staff is friendly - a little overstaffed right now since they are just getting started. I would definitely recommend Bonfire and will go back.
