  • Descriptive phrase: Wisconsin bites and libations, done right. Short and sweet, The Old Fashioned serves Wisconsin staples and prepares drinks to local tastes better than most. Their titular Brandy Old Fashioned cocktails are the best I've had and a steal at $4. The Cheese Curds are gooey and greasy. Their draught beer selection is hard to beat. The Beer-Cheese Soup comes with popcorn on top. It's my #1 recommendation for non-Wisconsinites in Madison for a bit.
