DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY! We booked the West Rim on 01/20/2017. They were one hour late picking us up from Planet Hollywood. Then we were one hour late leaving their depot because the South Rim tour was cancelled due to snow so they were re-booking them on our tour (the West Rim).
This was absolutely the worst tour we have ever taken. The bus was very uncomfortable. On a positive note, it was note to see Hoover Dam (got some great pics). After the long bus trip to the Grand Canyon, it started to rain and snow. We literally walked for three hours in the rain and snow and were soaked. There was ZERO visibility. We could not see the Grand Canyon! Such a waste coming all the way from the East Coast to see nothing. The Hopi indians were no help. They charge $40 to let us go out on the glass walkway (even though we couldn't see anything). They prevented us from bringing our own cell phones and even used a metal detecting wand to make sure we didn't. Then you have pay for any pictures "they" took of you on the walk way. What a scam. Ridiculous.
The last stop was at a Hop indian location and there was so much rain, there was a huge puddle which we proceeded to step in. No safety cones. Nothing to protect the visitors. We were drenched! The stupid pink sticker they made us wear on our coats (to prove we were in the tour) got soaked and ruined my fleece jacket. I felt bad for those who were not prepared for the weather and were not wearing coats. No one on the bus was happy because the entire tour was miserable and a waste of an entire day.
After the tour we called the company to get a refund. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! They gave me a run around for an entire month (supervisor was at lunch, couldn't provide a status on the refund, told me they would get back to me). I had someone actually hang up on me. Then I was finally told they can't avoid weather problems and that I would NOT get a refund.
Please DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I don't know how they stay in business.
