  • Let me just start by saying, if I were able to choose my last meal on earth, this would be it. A favorite of mine since as long as I can remember. Pricey but well worth it. Last time I came here was with Randall S. for his birthday (7/30/16). It's the perfect restaurant to celebrate special occasions like birthdays, graduations and anniversaries etc. The white table cloth and dim lighting really sets the mood for a romantic night out. We had reservations but arrived early and had time to order a drink at the bar. Two Moscow Mules and complimentary house made potato chips to snack on while we waited to be seated. A few sips later our table was ready. Once at our table, our server explained the menu and gave a bit more information to my date since it was his first time there. We both decided on the Lawry's cut and we shared the sides. Creamed corn, asparagus, mashed potatoes with gravy and creamed spinach, also each meal comes with yorkshire pudding. To start, they bring you the famous spinning bowl salad (appropriately named). I absolutely adore this salad and I'm not particularly a salad kinda gal. Then we ordered another round of drinks while we waited for our food. Shortly after the carver comes by with his glorious cart full of prime rib and all the fixings. You'll be asked how you prefer your prime rib. I always go with medium. My date ordered his medium well. He's not a fan of pink. Even when we went to Gordam Ramsey he ordered medium-well, he'll never learn lol. Now back to the prime rib. Every bite is absolutely delicious. Juicy and tender, so flavorful. It literally melts in your mouth. I like to sprinkle a bit of the lawrys seasoning and just a touch of horse radish for a kick. Mmmm, perfection. After our meal was done they brought a surprise for the birthday boy. Chocolate cake with a single candle to make a wish. The look on his face was priceless. The overall dining experience is as good as it gets. From the bartender to our hostess and not to mention our server. She was very attentive and made sure we were on schedule for the show we had tickets for right after. Can't wait to visit again. Until then I'll be dreaming of prime rib & yorkshire pudding. Misc tips: Always make reservations and if you're up for the challenge, you can find all their recipes on their website. I've tried it, they really taste like the real deal. ; )
