  • So here is a story for you. My Dad bought this bulldog a couple years ago after my Mom had passed. He got him as a puppy and they become inseparable. He literally took him everywhere. Then the pup(Max) became too big for my Dad to handle, my Dad's vet recommended some medication to put Max on to help with his aggressiveness towards strangers and excessive barking. The medication kind of helped for the first month or so. But then went right back into his normal behavior. We talked to my Dad's vet and he recommended a trainer. My Dad and I went to training for 6 months. Max learned the basic commands but would only do them in the comfort of the house. Once we stepped outside he would start pulling and lunging at everyone he saw. We finally kind of went off on the trainer and asked him why after so long of training he was still so crazy?!?? He basically told us that Max was the type of dog that couldn't be trained. He said it was our fault for starting him so late as he should have been trained as a puppy. The Vet even said the only option was to keep Max indoors or have him put down! I couldn't believe what I was hearing, and it literally broke my Dad's heart. My Dad loves going places and I remembered how happy my Dad was when Max was a puppy and still manageable. Anyone I met Rob at Home Depot with this German Shepherd he just got named Pacman. Rob told me the story about how when he got him he was crazy and wanted to kill everyone. I wouldn't have been able to tell as Pacman seemed very sweet and loving with me. I told Rob my story and he didn't seem surprised. He said people like to pass the blame to someone else when meds and their training techniques don't work. He said he'd be able to solve the issue guaranteed. I took my Dad and Max to Robs place and Rob did the evaluation process to determine how long it would take to get him trained. We went thru with Rob's board and train program for 4 weeks. After the 4 weeks Rob pretty much gave us back a different dog. We met Rob at the Biltmore Fashion Park and showed us how Max did around people. It was unbelievable, he was happy to meet people. And followed the commands very well with us the first day. After one follow up session with Rob my Dad and I could take Max anywhere! My Dad and I are so happy I can't not thank you guys enough! Makes me So mad thinking about that other trainer and the vet that almost had us put Max down for no reason! But my Dad and I are so thankful we found you guys! Thanks again:)
