I stayed here for a three day annual meeting and product training. The other reviews are not too far off. The three star rating is an average between the hotel space and conference space. I would give the hotel 2 stars because the rooms are outdated, the towels are not soft, and the shower curtain had stains on it. The conference rooms on the other hand are really nice. Very clean with a modern design and good technology. The catered food was so-so yet the atmosphere was pleasant considering the meeting agenda. I was actually impressed with the auditorium after reading other reviews and staying the first night in the dreaded hotel room. The hotel staff during the day was nice but the night staff let me down. I arrived at around 2 AM with a freshly broken arm from a longbaord accident the week before to a not so helpful front desk attendant. Not only was I not offered help with my bags, I was also given very poor directions to my room. So here I was with only one usable arm hiking across this massive parking lot after driving 5 hours from Indy with my bags trying to open doors, climb stairs and walk what seemed like miles of hallway to find out I could have parked on the other side of the lot. I was not a happy camper. The only saving grace was a very functional HVAC in the room. I have had too many bad experiences with poor temperature control in hotel rooms. Too bad Sea World and Six Flags closed down, that would have made my trip.
