| - We never do buffets in Las Vegas - today was an exception. I cannot eat seafood, but my sister loves it. I didn't want to waste dinner going to a seafood restaurant where I only have two options. We decided on The Buffet at the Wynn.
First - if you haven't been to the Wynn during your time in Las Vegas you need to go. It is one of the most beautifully decorated hotels on the Strip. The Buffet is no different. It has almost an Alice and Wonderland feel to the ambiance with floor to ceiling flower arrangements in yellow, pinks and greens. The chairs and tables are also Victorian looking with bold patterned cushions.
Second - I've never seen so many stations at a buffet. I'm estimating close to 20. Stations include - seafood, Asian, gourmet tacos, carving stations, Italian, comfort foods, salad bar, pickled vegetable bar, soups, breads, associated meats and cheeses, and an entire center of desserts!
I had a little bit from every station except the seafood. I can state my sister was extremely happy about the selection of seafood there! The carving station was amazing. I am typically a picky meat eater so buffets are great where I can try things I normally wouldn't order. I had the roasted turkey and ribs. The Mac and cheese at the comfort food station is to die for. Be sure to pick up some Parmesan crusted chicken to go with it! My number one favorite station was the desserts - I had a little taste of everything. This area has a gelato station, made to order crepes, and honestly any other dessert you can imagine!
Over all I think The Buffet is worth the price. It has tons of space so unless the night is overwhelming busy I can't imagine anyone waiting in line.
