  • I really like the Nurse and PA here at Phillip's Clinic! I go to the doctor frequently because I have a serious medical condition and it is a doctor's office with the perks of being a clinic. For example, you can do a walk-in, but the office is clean and I've never seen a full waiting room. Also, they have Saturday appointments, but unlike other doctors I've been too, they don't make 'reserve' those for sick visits. I've had a physical done on a Saturday, which is great because I didn't have to take time off from work. The office staff is fine, no complaints. They seem professional in that they don't talk to much or they aren't harsh with you, they are busy and look to be doing their jobs. The NP, Julie Gidvani, is very thorough and I really like the PA, Douglas Turner, too. He reminds me of Dr. House from TV lol. I was having pain and thought it was a kidney stone so he did an x-ray in the office. He didn't see any and told me it there could be one, but that he believed it was something more serious. He said he believed I was bleeding internally and needed to go to the ER right away. Where he got that idea without the use of more sophisticated medical equipment to for testing I don't know. The doctor's office is literally like 3 blocks from the doctor's office, but he didn't want me to drive. So, I listened and had a friend take me to the hospital and after 2 MRI's they determined that I was having some internal bleeding - I was diagnosed with a retroperitoneal hemotoma to be exact. So not only did he save my life, he also called and checked on me several times while I was in the hospital for the remainder of the week. They always go above and beyond and when you have serious medical conditions you need that sense of trust. Great doctors!!!!
