Like most of Vegas, the airport feels like a mirage. It feels like a small airport. Minus the slot machines, it behaves like a small airport. It may technically be classified as a small airport (didn't check to be sure) but it is the weirdest small airport I've ever traveled through.
Maybe it's the construction in the ticketing area that gets everyone going awry. Maybe it's the zig-zagging security lines that seemed worse than Orlando (which is saying a lot). Or maybe - just maybe - it's the zoo of the baggage claim where everything seems to be all in one area with very little signage (other than advertisements for VEGA$) helping you navigate to find your bags and actually make it out of the airport.
I actually had a decent experience traveling in & out of LAS and I will be much better prepared for my next visit whenever that may be, but I still don't know exactly what happened while I was there. And no, I didn't gamble in the airport.
