Excellent quality small plates with wide selection of local beers. Great atmosphere and attentive servers as well.
We went on a Sunday evening (7-ish) and had no problem getting a window table even though the place was busy.
The waiter recommended 2-3 tapas per person. We selected 5 including brussels sprouts, hummus, shrimp and grits, chorizo fundido, and fried green caprese. We're not big eaters so 5 was the perfect number...six would've pushed us over the edge of comfort!
Our favorite was the hummus, topped with black olive tapenade, crisped garbonzos, and served with soft pita wedges. The hummus had just enough heat to make it interesting.
The S&G came in the form of a grit-cake with 2 huge grilled shrimp on top. We loved the taste but the grits had cream cheese mixed in so were definitely on the heavy side.
The Chorizo Fundido was more like a queso but was spicy and flavorful.
The FGC were hearty and paired with fresh mozzarella slices. Very good!
I only tried one of the brussels, which I don't care for, so I can't comment on how it compares.
In summary, my wife and I decreed that this is our new "go to place!" You should check it out!
