| - I absolutely love Coffee Buddha. The coffee, tea, and food are all local, the syrups are homemade from ingredients grown in their own back yard, and they support local artists and businesses. Everyone is super-friendly and helpful. They offer daily "deals" (think $2 medium lattes on Tuesdays and after-school milk and cookies). It's also a dog-friendly space; there are bones and water bowls available on the porch.
The atmosphere is wonderful, too. Downstairs, you can sit and work solo or relax in comfy chairs and watch the movies and TV shows that they play during the day. Usually it's something quirky and corresponds with any holidays. Upstairs, there are larger working spaces where groups can meet and a zen/meditation room. The only downfall is I'd like more tables to work on downstairs. I love people watching while I work and when I sit upstairs where there are more tables, I wish I could see what was happening in the main area. Not a reason to give less than 5 stars though!
I've never had a bad experience here and I've been going here for over 2 years. I love sitting on the porch; it's a perfect zen space in the middle of Ross Twp. Definitely try a peanut buddha latte, any of the pastries, or a good, old-fashioned shot of espresso.
