I know they're trying to keep it oldschool with the walk-in only policy but when you're this popular it makes no sense at all! At a certain point it just becomes hipster posturing. I literally showed up at the exact time it opened on a Saturday and there was a three and a half hour wait because they opened their door before. So if you really want to come here, come BEFORE it opens. Now if I were Hollow Ground I'd have have all my barbers ready to go at opening knowing their will be a line. But no... at opening time there was only dude sweeping up hair from yesterday and taking names for the wait list. Very inefficient. Crow's Nest has crazy long waits but at least you can book it in advance. Can't fault someone for being popular but you can for how they handle the volume clients. In conclusion no haircut could possibly be worth having to deal with policies like they have here. I might try and go back during a weekday to see if it is any better.
