  • Color me impressed. Zoos aren't top of list to visit in any city but we decided to make the most of the weather and go to the zoo! I am so glad we did. What a great attraction for the City of Calgary. We saw the new lion cubs and almost everything else - this place is huge. Most impressive - the penguins. We went on a Monday so didn't face the massive line-ups rumored to happen on the weekends. So good we went twice. And got to see the final feeding of the day. I giggled like a school girl I was so thrilled. Be prepared to walk walk walk. But on a lovely day in Calgary this is a great place to visit or re-visit.
