  • We had theater tickets yesterday afternoon at CLO Cabaret. We thought we'd enjoy a nice brunch at Meat & Potatoes before the show. We've been there before and the food has been excellent. As soon as we entered, we knew we couldn't stay. This place has decided to have a DJ on Sunday mornings. The music was so loud, with such heavy bass, that there was no way we would be able to carry on a conversation with our friends, much less enjoy a relaxing meal. The hostess offered to have the music turned down. After doing so, it wasn't any better. So we left and had a lousy "meal" of bar food in the theater. Why do places think it's a good idea to turn into a night club on an early Sunday afternoon? We won't be back. Too bad, it used to be a nice place.
