Was optimistic at first, had heard good things and it's obviously quite popular. Unfortunately it didn't meet my expectations for a number of reasons on my two visits.
- Service was INCREDIBLY slow. Baristas seemed perpetually distracted some more concerned with socializing than doing their job. Waited in line behind one person for several minutes while they chatted with them, they could've at least taken my order.
- Second visit, I ordered a chocolate hazelnut croissant, no lineup this time. After the server tried to push a drink on me (seemed pissed off and indifferent when I declined). They began to talk with the other person behind the counter. The croissant was in reaching distance yet I just stood there being ignored while they chatted. Eventually just left.
- Full of annoying pretentious people, screaming children, gigantic strollers. Seriously loud, basically had to raise my voice to talk over it. Not even joking.
- Perhaps most importantly coffee tasted burnt AND was lukewarm, pretty inexcusable for $4 beverage. At least they could've delivered on that.
