  • High end washing equipment, but, staff lacks proper training and attention to detail. Full disclosure, I have very high standards about how my vehicle is cleaned. I'll commit an entire Saturday twice a year detailing my ride. My idea of "how to wash a car" is not for everyone. I purchase my vehicles and keep them looking nice for many years. The owner purchased very quality infrastructure and built a nice property. I tried the location on a busy Saturday morning in November 2012 and left not impressed. The staff are poorly trained. I watched in disbelief as an employee dried my wheels then used the same towels on my paint then used the same towels to clean the interior. The detailing standard is to work high to low on the exterior, working from less dirty to more dirty surfaces. You regularly refold/flip/changeout your drying towel. And never reuse towels for different surface types (rims have brakedust, so don't contaminate your interior with it or scratch your clearcoat with road grim near the rocker panels). Moreover, the staff completely forgot to vacuum my interior and forgot to wash off my rubber mats. I paid for both services, but, didn't want to give the staff a second change to scatch my clearcoat. This location is probably acceptable if you have a short term lease where you don't really care what happens to the clearcoat on your vehicle. I don't use carwashes often, and usually find the best ones have staff properly trained in full detail work (e.g., Three Cee's in Herndon, VA was awesome when I lived in the DC area). I'm going to look elsewhere in CLT for a better carwash.
