I am still in shock! Bought leggings for $58 the week before Christmas. They ended up being too large. I went in January to return them for a store credit. I knew it would be a store credit because I specifically asked the exchange policy when I purchased them. I didn't have my receipt so the girl told me that I would get $10 for them. She then told me they would accept my bank statement as proof of purchase. I told her that I would pull it up online. Went outside since I didn't have good cell service inside the store. I left the leggings on the counter. While I was pulling up my information 5 minutes later, the sales clerk came outside to ask me when I bought them. I told her in December. She then informed me that they wouldn't accept them since it had been longer than 2 weeks. What?! It was Christmas time. How can you not accept a purchase back in January that I made in December? I could hear someone else in the store. Clearly, someone had heard what was going on and told the clerk not to accept the leggings. Likely, I would have spent more in the store than the return cost of the leggings. I will never return. Clearly, someone has no business knowledge and doesn't understand the meaning of customer service. If a business is willing to treat a customer this way then they clearly need the money pretty badly. I walked out with the leggings and intend to tell everyone I know about this experience. Poor business knowledge for sure!
