| - Lileo is a beautiful store. The kind of store where you don't want to go when you're having a less-than-beautiful day. The staff is very pretty, dressed impeccably and the merchandise all seems to glow from the inside-out.
Luxury is in the air, and cashmere will cushion your fall, should you run short of it (air). Try not to swoon at the sight of Naked and Famous jeans or APC (there those guys are again) cotton ties, or that rather high-end collection from Converse. Converse, really? I had no idea. Seriously though, they have a great selection of fine clothing for both girls and guys, and I really enjoyed their abundance of philanthropically-minded gear that they also carry. The "NOBODY
WA S
THIRSTY" endeavour uses the proceeds of its pricey shirts to provide two people in Africa with drinking water for 20(!?) years, and TOMS shoes donate a pair to charity for every pair purchased.
Very cool to see some of the big bucks being spent on something so worthwhile.
All do-gooding aside, this is clearly shopping of a different ilk, far from the bargain bins of my world. One of those places where I make a guess at the price (while pushing the limits of my imagination), and then see that it's nearly twice my generous guess. But I ain't mad at cha, Lileo. I would and will come back again, collecting (very) small pieces of you in the hopes that you'll scatter some light in my closet.
