Does this place have any sort of customer service training?
I did some research and found that they have beer from Czech Republic. I could not find it on the shelf, luckily for me, there was a manager in the same aisle I was in and asked him if they had any of the beer in stock. He scanned the bar code and said no, then led me over to the fridge to see if there were any in there. No luck. All out. He apologized and walked away, not recommending any beer with similar flavor.
I'm not total wine trained, but knew to check the single beer side and found six single beers of the one I was initially looking for. Excited that I found them, I grabbed all six and proceeded to the register. The cashier was on her cell phone, texting or facebooking. Not caring to say hello. She scanned my beers and gave me my total. After she gave me my receipt and change, she went right back to her cell phone. Not taking the bag out of her rack and handing it to me. Not thanking me for coming. Not asking if I found everything I needed. No care that a paying customer is in the store.
Not sure I'll be back to total wine. I'll get better customer service at Bevmo.
