Rating: 2.25 Stars. Almost...but not quite there.
What I Liked: Tremendous upside to this place. The food has potential based on the quality of ingredients...but the overall execution wasn't all that good (yet). The service was friendly too.
Room For Improvement: They need more contrast of flavors in their dishes. A heat to go with the sweet. And/or fresh to compliment the rich. I ordered the Hangover sandwich and it was all rich (with no fresh element in the sandwich to counteract) and mostly sweet-tasting (with no heat to offset it). So, it really seemed lackluster to me. Also, the eggs were overcooked. Oh, and a mist-machine for dining outside would be nice too.
Overall: I wish this place well, but there are just too many other options out there for me to be back to Daily Dose.
