I give DHL .00001 of a star actually! Please note this review is not specific to this DHL location but for the company's "customer service" hotline.
I was expecting a parcel from the U.S and being the OCD person I am, I was frequently checking my tracking updates when I noticed that the updates were behind a day and then subsequently I started to freak out when the tracking actually stated that my parcel was "successfully delivered" when in truth I had no package in my possession!!!
Now the tricky thing was my parcel was in DHL's care within the US and then given to Canada Post for delivery once it reached Canada. Well once I called DHL to report my package as non-delivered the callous-toned woman who I spoke with pretty much kept parlaying the blame back on Canada Post and in a nutshell gave the impression that I was shit out of luck and did nothing to help me facilitate a trace. By comparison the people I spoke with from Canada Post were calm and kept suggesting I follow up with the sender and also suggested I wait a day or two as they explained that sometimes delivery tracking updates are prescanned and backlogged.
In the end I got my package, only because a neighbour was kind enough to give it to me as it was DELIVERED TO THE WRONG ADDRESS.
Needless to say I'm vehemently disappointed with the utter lack of customer supportive services from DHL's end and I felt like their handling of my issue sounded more like a defensive and defiant FU, than a collected and levelheaded "we will see what we can do for you"
