The first haircut for my Shih Tzu and Silky was good and we were happy to find a place that seemed like they truly cared, close to home and we loved the name because best in Show is one of our favorite movies. My Shih Tzu has sensitive skin so it is important a blade does not touch her skin. This is expressed over and over to anyone that I take her to. Second visit she ended up with three scabs on her back and my Silky was dragging his butt for three days due to a razor burn. Third visit was the last straw. There was eight scabs on my Shih Tzus back and I was livid and several toe nails were missed on my Silky plus he dragged his butt again for three days. No excuse for this. The owner is very friendly, the shop is clean and great prices but not worth it at the expense of causing my dogs undue stress. We are now looking for yet another groomer. I am sure the majority of the visits turn out with no issues like ours but our dogs are our babies and I am willing to pay as much as needed to be sure they are very well taken care of.
