I happened to be in the Town and Country center on other business when I saw the new salon. I moved to the area about 6 months ago and have been driving back to North Scottsdales for my pedicures but its hard to get in/find the time, so was interested in something closer and had not been happy with other choices in the Biltmore area.
So today I came in and had a wonderful experience with Uyen. The place was spotless and they were very friendly, greeting everyone who walked in and giving them quick attention. I have honestly never seen so many choices for gel polish colors; literally dozens. It was a bit overwhelming.
Uyen was very kind, gracious, asked frequently if she was being too rough (probably in response to the bad review from yesterday). She did a great job on the pedicure; I didn't have any complaints about the process. I chose the top of the line pedicure (forget the name) which came with hot wax and a hot stone massage. It was delightful and a nice way to relax after work.
We joked about the music - some of it was fairly soporific but compared to some salons where you cant relax with the thumping bass, I"ll take sedating Carpenters and other 70s soft love songs anytime!
Apparently, this is a sister salon to Ken's on Camelback and Indian School. I don't have any complaints and will definitely be back!
