  • I'm weirdly proud of Dufferin Mall. It's like one of your disaster family members you can't help but love who's finally getting their shit together. Even when I last lived here 6 years ago this place was bleak, and now it's 100 % serviceable and not nearly as grimy or depressing as some of these reviews make it seem. It's a varied crowd, but I'm not bothered sharing the world or the mall w ppl of different backgrounds and levels of privilege, so... Was living in the area temporarily and honestly, it was great having it there. H&M that they just renovated to be bigger and nicer, Forever 21 w a whole floor of sale items, Dollarama, WalMart, beer store, Winners, Marshall's, pretty decent food court for the size, huge No Frills, mobile booths of all kinds, Body Shop, Bath and Body Works, Toys 'R Us-for someone w a regular or limited budget, this place is a one stop shop. Obviously there's things you're going to need to go elsewhere for, but it's not claiming to be Yorkdale, so I ain't mad. Good job, Duff. Coming up in the world.
