  • Went on a trial membership 3/26/17, 3/28/17, and 3/30/17. My main complaint is how dirty and unkempt the gym is. I'll try to attach a pic of the drinking fountain. That sizeable piece of white crud was there all 3 days. Yuck. Caked on dirt around and on the machines and benches. Mikes excuse was their cleaning person was sick over the weekend. OK, that happens, but they still had Monday and Tuesday to clean it - was still there Wednesday morning. Another complaint was the lack of long nylon handles for the cable machines. I spoke with the manage, Mike, and he said they would get those during their annual 'enhancement period' in August (several months away). This is a $16 item that every gym should have - not a major purchase (they have one handle now, but 2 are needed for most exercises). The ellipticals are a very old style. In general, the place has a neglected and un-maintained feel. Edit: Added photos of the drinking fountain. Returned the keyfob. The franchise owner was in the office. Kinda rude and surly. He didn't say much of anything. No greeting. No interest at all on why I did not want to become a member. They take a $98 fee for the trial membership - via credit/debit which they charge immediately. They won't reverse the charge when you cancel. They say they will send a check. EDIT: finally got the check 20 days after I returned the fob.
