| - Responsibilities may vary from one receptionist position to another, but the accuracy of scheduling & confirming appointments, as well as having pleasant interactions with clients, should be fundamental duties.
The interaction with a client and front desk is the most important first impression for a business.
The front desk here is appallingly unprofessional.
My very first visit was scheduled incorrectly.
Then, thereafter, I had 2 other appointments mistakenly booked. The morning of the appointment scheduled in error, the receptionist tried to reach me at the phone number I provided as my emergency contact.
I was given such an attitude, as if she took this as a personal attack.
I have been tempted to write this review since that experience, however I let it go.
I kept my kids' cleanings scheduled last week & everything went well.
Until we sat down & I could hear the receptionist get into another verbal altercation on a phone call.
After she hung up, she gossiped with the staff about "not having time for that."
I understand people are irresponsible & some clients can be anything but pleasant.
Part of my job, as a receptionist, is to maintain a professional composure & to listen as well as I speak.
I have one recommendation for this dental office.
Hire a FRIENDLY PROFESSIONAL for your front desk.
The dental assistants and hygienists have all been pleasant over the past 4 visits between my kids and I.
This rating is solely based on the, more memorable, interactions with the receptionist.
We will not be returning.
