  • I had to pay this joint a visit after rave reviews from my girlfriends who are constantly on the hunt for the best gelato in the city. I must say, the gelato here is both mesmerizing and heavenly. So rich, smooth and creamy. I love this location as it is in Little Italy, great restaurants and bars all around. There was a lineup at 10:30 pm on a Thursday night but the line did move promptly. For those who can snag a spot, the patio out front is a nice size. As many have stated, you can taste test and they do have a broad selection, all looked incredibly yummy. If you are craving lattes/teas or baked goods like cupcakes and cakes (red velvet looked amazing), they have these too. Thumbs up for their Strawberry Cheesecake, Mint Chocolate Chip, Torrone (Almond Nougat based) but most definitely, the award goes to the Pistachio, my all time favourite flavour and Dolce Gelato does not disappoint. Dolce Gelato ties first place as my favourite ice cream parlour, next to Summer's Ice Cream in Yorkville. Parking - street Business Hours - 9:00 am - 12:00 am daily, Friday - Sunday 9:00 am - 1:00 am
