rev:text	I like The Great Dane a lot, we've been to several of the locations around Madison. They have great beers and always good service. We usually go to the one on Jupiter Dr. and no complaints. We stopped into this location in Fitchburg after running errands to have some drinks and appetizers. We were told they had tables upstairs with beer tappers on the tables. We loved that idea so we sat at one of those. We were immediately told that one of the 4 beers currently offered at the tap tables wasn't working, so that was disappointing but not a huge deal because it wasn't one of the main ones we were wanting to drink. The waitress came over and told us she didn't know how to use the tapper at the table and we were given plastic pitchers to run the lines. After several pitchers of foam, we finally started getting one of the three beers to come out nice. The other two "working" ones remained foamy. So we drank the one that appeared to be working. We continued running the lines into pitchers but it wasn't much use. The table keeps track of how much liquid comes out to decide how you pay, and therefore shouldn't count foam but it began to count the foam the longer we tried. We also ordered mixed drinks which were great. We got cheese curds and poutine fries with fried chicken. They were both good, but the curd breading was too floury for my taste. Like I said, this chain is usually awesome but the beer tap table was disappointing so I took off a star. The staff was awesome and didn't make us pay for any of the beer we kept running through the line to see if the foam dissipated. So overall great place, just don't sit at the tap tables.
