I remember when the Outlet prices were a bargain. For most of this stuff today, you can pretty much get it for the same price at normal stores. Sometimes better with a sale. But there's just something to be said for the frenzy that's instilled when shopping at these large outlet locations. You feel the need to buy something! I want 75% off, but since that's not gonna happen, here's a little trivia:
"Just Do It." The famous Nike slogan came from a rather unlikely source - spree killer Gary Gilmore, who received the death penalty for murdering two people in Utah in July, 1976. Just before a firing squad did their duty, Gilmore was asked if he had any last words. "Let's do it," he simply said. When Dan Wieden of Wieden+Kennedy was tapped to create a tagline for Nike a decade later, something about Gilmore's words just seemed to fit. "Let's" was changed to "Just" to add a dash of emphasis.
OK, back to the review. With the amount of traffic this place gets, the workers do a good job of keeping the place neat and tidy. Done.
