Last week, my oven started beeping and displaying an error code, so I placed a service request with Whirlpool. An appointment was set up for Appliance Rescue to come to check it the following day. I received a message in the morning confirming the appointment window (Noon-5pm) and the oven being an older model. The technician (Ryan F. #92), while very polite, did nothing other than read the error code, tell us that the part causing the error code could not be replaced (because the oven's an older model and the replacement part needed was NLA), and charge me a service fee. I was left very upset and disappointed by the entire incident. I feel as if this company took advantage of my situation. I could have easily relayed the error code, and I did not need to pay someone $70 to do that. My oven's still broken, and I have less money to put toward the replacement. I tried to send my complaint via 800appliance.com and appliancerescue.com - both sites resulted in a website error.
