  • Having waited nearly two years to try Church Brew Works, I was sorely disappointed by the food and beer, but overwhelmed by the atmosphere. There's really no comparing the atmosphere to anything else - it's in an old church, of course, and the high ceilings and stained glass windows are overwhelming. Unfortunately, my burger was subpar, and I've never really enjoyed any of CBW's beer - the fact that it was on tap from the brewery didn't help. Furthermore, my waiter was incredibly odd - lame jokes, and all, which detracted a bit from the experience.
