| - Some people come to Vegas to gamble, some to drink, some are looking for illegal substances and/or the company of less than reputable 'entertainment professionals'.
Me? Ostensibly I came to go to a bachelor party, but really I came to shoot a machine gun. Make that two machine guns. And an old-style Colt revolver. And an old western repeater rifle. And a sniper rifle. And I was going to do an UZI too, but I'd already spent more money than most people lose in a day gambling in Vegas, so I called it a day.
The guys behind the counter here are deathly serious, but they have to be. If you try to go nutso with a machine gun at this place, their job is to take you down. After I shot a few strings with a few of they guys they realized I wasn't about to go postal and started to loosen up, and some of the stories they had were excellent. I think all the guys here are ex-military, and all of them know their way around all of the guns... I mean, it's their job.
I thought the paper targets there were more than a little creepy, but they had no problem with me shooting my own targets... which were $5 Vegas t-shirts I scored at the discount bin up on Fremont Street. Not only did I not feel dirty for shooting pictures of obviously non-white people, I had souvenirs when I left! Good times.
I highly recommend coming here if you're not a gun nut. If you are a gun nut, you probably own half the stuff they have anyway and can shoot it in your backyard way cheaper... except the full auto stuff, of course. Me, I prefer to leave the hardware at the range.
