I truly wanted to like this place :( I have been spoiled with amazing, good-to-the-last-slurp ramen in Los Angeles and I'm quite familiar with how ramen should taste. Umami sadly pales in comparison. I ordered the Miso chicken ramen which I was looking forward to as many ramen places only offer pork broth and meat. Unfortunately, the broth was bland and the noodles were overly cooked; the only redeeming ingredient was the flavor-infused egg. I also tried the Umami arugula salad which was quite fresh but the dressing on the salad ruined it (too bitter). I gave one extra star because the restaurant ambience is intimate and cute, and it was easy to get outdoor seating.
