| - The biggest thing this Hilton Garden Inn has going is the LOCATION.
Super prime to bars, nightlife, shopping, cool spots in Toronto.
Because of this, you will pay a premium - for a few things.
The hotel/room itself is SUPER CLEAN. I stayed in a whirlpool tub room and it is well worth the money. The tub was extremely clean, worked well, and included bath soaks. I have always been a Hilton loyalist and this hotel is a prime example of its cleanliness and location. The room also included a fire place, it was big, and had a partial view of the CN tower where I was in the corner.
I didn't give this 5 stars for a couple of reasons:
-Parking is $50 CAD. Be prepared to pay this because there is NO PARKING in the area
-Construction across the street. Dust and noise.
-The bell staff/valet are clueless. They have no idea where anything is or whats going on, or which way is up. The front desk staff, however, are knowledgeable. Ask the front desk staff.
-There is an obnoxious club next door the ORCHID, full of young 18+ kids..... OMG I went out at night and the line was wrapped around the corner. I came back from dinner/drinks and the entrance of the is literally a stones throw from the entrance of the hotel. There were kids mingling every which way, someone threw up all over the driveway of the hotel , and trash, cigarette butts, it was a HOT MESS and it stunk. To the hotel's credit I can tell they are prepared and aware. There is CARD ONLY access after 8ish PM so you feel very safe going in and out of the hotel. I woke up around 8ishAM to walk around and saw the hotel cleaned up the hot mess from the night before. I suggest the staff routinely get the kids away from the driveway/entrance this could potentially be a liability issue.
