  • I booked airline tickets for a round trip from Phoenix to San Fransisco a couple of weeks ago. I got an email yesterday that says they canceled my flight (not really sure why they cancelled it, the trip is more than a month away) and that they needed to put me on a new flight. I'm pretty easy going so I wasn't too upset until I saw the flight they wanted me to take. My original flight departed Phoenix at 10:25 AM and flew directly to Sam Fransisco. On the way home I left San Fransisco at 12:25 PM and flew directly home to Phoenix. The flight they wanted to put me on leaves Phoenix at 5:20 AM and arrives in Denver at 7:15 AM and I wouldn't fly to San Fransisco until 4:20 PM. That's a 9 hour lay over. No thanks. On the way home I would leave San Fransisco at 11:20 AM and get to Denver at 3:00 PM and stay there until 10:00 PM, then I'd fly back to Phoenix. That's another 7 hour layover. I canceled my reservations. I'd rather pay an extra $100 to fly with someone else.
