rev:text	I just had the worst courier experience of my life. I'm in BC, and the address on Yelp is for Canpar's head office. They attempted delivery when I wasn't home. Fair enough. I've bought many mail order items over the years. When I miss delivery, I just pick the item up at the PO. Not with CanPar. I tried to get info on their website, but my ticket had no customer number. Couldn't learn a thing without it. I called them to find out about pickup. It's 60 miles away, as they have no arrangement with Canada Post and no partners in my city of 100k, nor in the next closest city of 125k. The exceedingly rude customer service rep told me I had to sit home all the next day, 9-6, to await delivery. She could barely speak English, and flew into a sarcastic rage when I asked her to repeat herself. She then said she'd contact the delivery unit out near me, and find out if they could shorten the delivery window. She didn't call back. I called her again. She promised again, but didn't call back. So I emailed. Their site promises a response within 8 hours. They didn't respond until 16 hours later, and then only to say the first customer service rep was mistaken; they never promise a window of time. My package finally arrived. The box was bashed in. Nice. CanPar is the company that has the contract for the Global Shipping Program with Ebay/Pitney Bowes. Beware. I'll only buy from sellers in future who ship through UPS, Canada Post or DHL (Ebay's other options), and take my chances on what duty will cost.
