  • This takes me back. I found myself at this particular QuikTrip as it is the place I went to immediately after I took my wife on our first date years ago (hey, if your car needs gas, it needs gas!) I found myself in Phoenix recently to attend a friend's wedding and on the way had to stop by a cheap gas station. Unlike in California where throngs of cars find themselves at Costco Gasoline locations, in Arizona, there's QuikTrip stations everywhere, or at least feels like it. And more often than not, the prices at QuikTrip are lower than that of Costco Gasoline in Arizona. So, the throngs of cars you'd see at Costco gas stations in California, would feel more "evenly dispersed" in a city like Phoenix. I gotta say, it's nice to get in and out of a gas station in under 4 minutes time total from the time you drive onto the gas station to the time that you get out. My wife had walked into the convenience store itself to use the restroom and get me a soda (yeah yeah, you can be critical of my bad habits, whatever) and again, we were out in under 4 minutes total. I wish they had QuikTrip's in California.
