  • So I've been getting my hair done here by Heidi for the last year. She is absolutely amazing! Highlights, cuts, dyes, blowdrys...you name it and she can do it. Prior to meeting her for hair...me and my girlfriends have frequented Solaire for manicures and pedicures often as well as I've brought family here for massages and pedicures. I give them a lot of business because it is an adorable spa in Hudson with an upscale feel and great quality of services. This should be and could be one of the best hidden secrets if they had better branding and identity. The services are wonderful and I like most of the actual stylists and service empoyees. They are great people and down to earth. Keep in mind that you are in and upscale neighborhood and unfortunately sometimes they make you realize the snobbish world. You get th at feeling in some of the neighbor restaurants and boutiques. Don't know why management would want to make people who spend good money feel unwelcome. But again, I think this is a great spa and the quality is awesome. Was surprised to see them do Groupon for massages and mani pedis. Finally on this visit, after getting my hair done and getting my girlfriend a mani pedi and massage, we decided to try the wine bar upstairs that needs to have its own identity. Very quaint cute room with maybe about 10 to 12 tables with a view down to the spa through the middle and a nice bar. They had amazing happy hour specials like veggie pizza for 5$ and you can even do 2 entrees and 2 glasses of house wine for 25$??? What a deal! We however wanted to try everything so that's what we pretty much did. The bartender/manager was awesome in every way. It was 3 of us and a 1 and half year old baby. Thank goodness the place was empty because it was five degrees outside and most people stayed in. Baby ran around everywhere including into the glass around the gorgeous wine cellar. Food was wonderful. We started with pizza, Greek meatballs, and guacamole with pita. Entrees included the rack of lamb which is one of their signatures, cherry duck which was a special and scallops. Oh and I dare not forget the bottle of DARE Napa cab we had decanted for the table. Great fine dining experience. Perfect day...pampering and getting beautified and then walking upstairs to a wonderful high end dinner with amazing service.
