  • Wow am I glad I finally checked this place out. I don't know if it's the name or what but it was never at the top off my must try list. I wish it was though! I had a hard time choosing what to order but ended up going with one of the specials that day, Mahi Kim Chi tacos with a side of Jalapeño grits. The flour tortillas are lightly fried and taste homemade. I can honestly say that the tortillas are the best I've ever had - ever. The fish was cooked just right and the Kim Chi added the right amount of kick to put this dish over the edge for me. Those on the fence for which side to get go with the Jalapeño grits - you won't be disappointed. The ambiance is certainly eclectic to say the least. It's nothing that will prevent you from coming back but I found myself squinting and grinning multiple times as I looked around and the decor. Is the artistic flair "out there"? Sure. But with food this good you can get away with it.
