  • Time for a rant... My new "nautical sideboard". After 6 missed deliveries they send #damaged goods. DON'T EVER ORDER FROM Ashley Home Furniture @shopashley or @AshleyHomeStore worst #customerservice #badservice #fail. Yes, they finally delivered this morning, after about 12 robo call confirmations, manager assurances, subhuman phone service people, escalated customer care representatives. Disgusting customer service. Worst store ever! We ordered a kitchen table + chairs, 2 couches and a "Nautical Sideboard" which is basically an eight foot long buffet that weighs +300LBs. See photo below: The history of hell service and my delivery nightmare: First deliver came and only the 2 couches came. They "forgot" the table, chairs & sideboard. Second delivery came LATE several days later and they brought the table and chairs - forgot the sideboard. Third delivery, Robo called the night before confirming my delivery. Waited until 2pm - truck never shows. I call in and a manager is busy but says will call back. After calling back several times at 6 pm I get sent to customer care - tell me the sideboard didn't make it on the truck.They reschedule me for 3 days later. Fourth Delivery, I call in the morning, Ashley confirms it's on a truck for delivery. I wait around all day. Call the store, manager says its out for delivery. Finally at 6PM a driver calls and says nothing is on the truck to deliver. Call and manager says they are busy but will call me back - never does. I get shoveled to customer care to someone that can barely speak english. She must have dropped out of school in 8th grade. I explain after 4 missed deliveries this was insane. She calls the store manager while I rot on hold for 30 mins. This is where get really bizarre...Finally she says that the item is not furniture, it an an accessory and I would need to pick it up. I'm not sure how anyone without a cargo van/truck could possibly move this thing and it's clearly furniture. Again this is basically an eight foot long buffet that weighs +300LBs. A LAMP IS AN ACCESSORY. I told her to look at my bill and see I've been charged for delivery and it's clearly marked it's furniture. After getting pushed up to another service rep, they tell me that they could make a special delivery for me the next week. I get Critical Customer care assurances plus 2 robo call confirmations for deliver on Wednesday. Proceed to wait around like a moron for Ashley to deliver my furniture. At 4:45pm Customer care calls and says it was a new delivery crew and they forgot my furniture so they will try to deliver on Thursday. I tell them this is crazy. They can come pick up all the furniture from my house if they can't get me the piece First delivery AM on Thursday. I've now wasted FIVE (5) DAYS waiting for furniture that never arrives. They call the warehouse and find out they don't have one there, that they will have to pick up a floor model from University. And again, they acted like they are doing me some favor because this is some special accessory, EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE HAPPY ENOUGH TO TAKE MY MONEY FOR DELIVERY FEES! Thursday morning arrives, 8:30AM I get a call from some guy with heavy spanish accent speaking broken english, that he will be at my home in 30 mins. While I was on a business conference my phone rings. I can't answer it, but I do call back the number about 10 mins later at 9AM. It was the driver, he said he rang my door 5 times and waited 10 minutes until he left. Turns out he went to my OLD ADDRESS EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE DELIVERED TO MY NEW ADDRESS TWO (2) PREVIOUS TIMES and I confirmed the correct delivery address on the Robo-call at 9PM the previous evening! He says he is confused with the paper work and if he even had anything on the truck to drop off or pick up, he wasn't sure and said I just need to call dispatch or customer service. So after calling customer service and getting placed on hold for anther 30 mins, they finally got the Truck to the correct address about 10AM. The guys were dress up like hoodlums and had pants hanging off. A cherry on top, the back leg has a huge gouge on the side. Delivery guy said they would note it. I call customer service about the damaged goods and wasting my time 5 times and they are only offering a $150 and WILL NOT REPLACE the furniture because they said it's a floor Model EVEN THOUGH THEY SOLD ME A NEW PIECE OF FURNITURE WHEN I BOUGHT IT! I'm beyond disgusted. Sadly I love the piece, or I would not have waited this long.
