  • Did the west rim helicopter tour today. Picked up at 7:30 in a beautiful sprinter van. Half hour to the airport during which we saw the safety video. Got checked in, had coffee, then met our pilot Brian. Flew over Hoover Dam and Lake Mead, then up the Grand Canyon (below the rim) to the reservation. Had two hours where we saw Eagle Point and Guano Point and got great pictures. Back to the airport and another great flight back. Arrived at the hotel before 2 pm so we've got the rest of the day. Brian was a wonderful pilot and tour guide. Highly recommended!!
