| - I went to this so called country bar on a Sunday night when they had $1 drafts and $1 SoCo and lime. The beer came in one of those cups you get at a dentist's office to swish and spit. I did not bother with the mixed drink. We sat for over 5 minutes before the bartender came over, and it was NOT busy, no elbow to elbow here. Plus, he was deaf. I didn't want any alcohol and asked for a soda and my husband got the dixie cup beer. I waited 10 minutes and went to the bathroom, and FINALLY when I got back I had a soda. Sorry I didn't want any booze! The atmosphere was lame, mostly college aged yuppie types, no country here, except for music. And according to the website, the bartenders and booze girls were supposed to be the hottest in the valley. Yeah NO! If you like caked on makeup, fake boobs and skanky outfits. You'd think they would hire more of the girl next door type, more country. The bathroom was horrible. I went to 4 stalls before I found one suitable to use. YUCK! Lastly, they pull that sketchy crap where they charge you $20 before your debit goes through. We spent $1.50 total and my bank account shows a $20 hold. That reminds me of the stuff they pull in swanky Scottsdale bars and clubs. If you want to go to a real country bar where the people are great, the atmosphere is laid back, the prices are awesome for mixed drinks, you get your bikers, lookers, thirsty hitch-hikers, and it really is in the "country", go to the Roadrunner Restaurant and Saloon in New River Arizona. Plus the bartenders are some of the best looking, most awesome people around. Screw Toby and his failed attempt at capitalizing on a song.
