  • My experience with Valvoline was somewhat mixed, but I ultimately left with a negative impression. Pluses: There was no wait to get my oil changed and everyone was friendly. Minuses: The technician accidentally sprayed oil all over my car prior to filling and didn't get it all cleaned up. He also left an oil stain on my driver's side mat. Perhaps more egregious, he initially put in the wrong oil type (it's written on the cap!), and I had to point this out and have him pump it out and replace it with the correct type. I decided to go to Valvoline because I saw so many good reviews. After this experience I will stick to whatever is cheapest and/or closest to where I live.
