  • What a cool park! It's in a nice area, and it has plenty to offer. I went here just about every day I was in Charlotte on my last visit. It's a big park with a nice playground and even has a mini Carolina Panthers training area for kids. My son really enjoyed running the obstacles. There's a long trail for running or walking that connects the different areas of the park. There's a big pond you can walk around, and there are shelters and water fountains along the way. On a side note, if you play Pokemon Go this a hot spot for it with plenty of PokeStops. I was here within the first month of the game's release, and the park was swarming with players.
