| - I love this place and I'm so happy they've opened a location closer to my office! It's much less crowded and stressful than Starbucks and the coffee is phenomenal. The aesthetic is clean and modern. I love the vibe here and it would be a great place to work remotely without too much distraction.
They offer a variety of coffee drinks including regular drip, pour overs, and espresso. I love that the coffee is not only delicious, but ethically sourced. In my opinion, this is one of the best cups of coffee in charlotte. They have started offering a variety of small bites including toasts (avocado, goat cheese, mascarpone and fruit) which is awesome and they also have a few pastries to choose from. Overall they keep it simple and it works because everything I've tried has been awesome.
Today I had the regular drop coffee and an order of the avocado toast- both delicious. The avocado toast is made with a rustic, chewy, multigrain bread that is exactly what I wanted! The avocado was ripe and delicious and they definitely didn't skimp on the portion- in probably got a whole half of an avocado. They finish it with olive oil, pistachios, radishes, and some sort of seasoning blend that is perfect for this dish. I can see myself easily getting addicted to this stuff.
I will say that this place is expensive- I paid $9.20 for avocado toast and a cup of coffee. But honestly I think it's worth it due to the high quality of my meal and the fact that their offerings are locally and sustainably sourced.
