| - It took me quite a while after they opened to discover this gem of "far north Scottsdale."
The ambience is stylish, and the perfect combination of maintaining professionalism but making you feel at home.
The staff is friendly and attentive. Note - this is a restaurant with refined cuisine, not your run-of-the-mill pizza place. For example, one of my favorites is an amazing gnocchi dish, with prosciutto, sautéed arugula and Gorgonzola cream sauce, along with other fresh/home made pasta options. This is a restaurant my Nonna, would be proud of as an immigrant from Italy and incredible chef herself.
Don't let Pizzeria in the title fool you, this is a very nice Italian restaurant that's worth the extra few minute drive North, to The Summit.
The topper as to why I decided to finally write a review....my son fell asleep on the way home tonight, so I decided to order a meal to go. My dessert was their Panna Cotta (which is AMAZING). To maintain the integrity of the presentation/taste, instead of dumping it out of the mold and letting it melt in the container on my way home, they left it in the glass bowl so I could enjoy it the same way it's served there! Furthermore, I told them I was going to stay in my car with my son to wait for my order, and I'd come back in within the estimated time they gave me.....they watched me walk to my car, took note, and without being asked, walked my order out to me when it was ready.
That is customer service at its best!!!! I'm beyond impressed with their commitment to treating their clientele like family. That's the very heart of the Italian culture and they project it flawlessly.
